What the heck is coherence?

The Seven Universal Laws of Reality

Updated: 6 days ago

Most people feel controlled by reality because they don't understand the rules it operates by. The Seven Universal Laws - also known as Hermetic Principles - are fundamental, unchanging laws that govern all reality. You can think of these laws as the 'game mechanics' of existence - principles that quietly govern perception, energy and outcomes whether you are conscious of them or not. When you learn to integrate these laws, you stop reacting to circumstances and start creating deliberately.

  1. The Law of Mentalism - The All is Mind

Reality originates in consciousness. Your mind is not separate from reality; it is the lens through which reality is constructed. This means your inputs, beliefs, and mental narratives matter immensely. What you repeatedly allow into your mental field becomes the blueprint for your lived experience. We also live in a perception based reality - life is not happening to us, it is happening through us. When you say something that does not empower you to live the life you want - that is a limiting belief. So have beliefs that serve you and put you in a box that you want to be in.

  1. The Law of Correspondence - As Within, So Without

Your inner world is always mirrored externally. Patterns in relationships, money, health, or opportunities reflect internal states, beliefs and attachments. When something shifts internally - such as detachment, calm, or clarity - it becomes possible to release or change the corresponding external circumstance. Reality is not random; it is relational. If you want a different experience, the leverage point is always within.

  1. The Law of Vibration - Nothing, Rests, Everything Vibrates

EVERYTHING, including thoughts and emotions, has a frequency. You are not just a physical body - you emit an electromagnetic signal shaped by your beliefs, emotions, and self-concept. Each 'version' of reality exists at a specific frequency, and you experience the one you are resonant with. Raising (or stabilizing) your vibration doesn't require constant positivity, but alignment. Coherence, meditation, and identity work help return you to your natural, higher baseline. You are always creating a signal and tuning into a specific frequency - like a radio dial. You are creating this frequency by what you are thinking and what you are feeling. If you go deeper, you think certain thoughts because of what you believe (this is where mental rewiring comes in). And you believe certain thoughts because of your self-identity and self-concept.

  1. The Law of Polarity - Opposites Are the Same in Degree

Lack and abundance, fear and courage, failure and success are not different energies - they are different ends of the same spectrum. You don't eliminate an unwanted state by fighting it; you transmute it by shifting focus to the opposite pole. Whatever you focus on compounds. By consciously directing attention toward the positive end of the spectrum, you move energy in that direction and dissolve the negative expression.

  1. The Law of Rhythm -- Everything Flows In and Out

Life moves in cycles: growth and contraction, light and dark, expansion and rest. The pendulum always swings back. Maters of reality don't over-identify with either success or struggle - they understand both are temporary. Periods of difficulty often create the capacity for greater expansion later. Peace comes from respecting seasons rather than resisting them.

  1. The Law of Cause and Effect

Most people live as effects - letting circumstances define identity, belief, and possibility. In truth, mental paradigm shifts are the primary causes, and actions are secondary expression. When you change the mental cause, perception and behavior reorganize automatically, producing different effects. Freedom begins when you stop letting external conditions author your inner world.

  1. The Law of Gender - Masculine and Feminine Creation

All creation requires both masculine (structure, action, logic) and feminine (intuition, imagination, receptivity) energy. Hustle without imagination = burnout; imagination without action = stagnation. Creativity, fulfillment, and sustainable success come from balancing both - using vision and intuition to guide action, and structure to bring ideas into form.

These seven laws describe how reality actually functions. When you apply them consciously - by managing your mind, energy and identity - you stopped being shaped by circumstances and start shaping them.

Stay anchored in the remembrance that you are the Cause and you are the Frequency that everything else shapes itself around.
